A couple weeks ago, Emily from Fit and Free with Emily was kind enough to post a promo code for Bulu Box and I jumped at the chance for a free one! For those unfamiliar, Bulu Box is a monthly subscription service that mails out a box of sample size vitamins and supplements. It’s a pretty cool idea and it gives you the opportunity to try new products without committing to huge containers and getting stuck with them if you end up not liking the product. This box came with BioVi Probiotic, BluCetin, FlapJacked Protein Pancake mix, Shapeology Burn Blend and EatGreen Tea. Now I have to say that these are not products I would really be tempted to buy…pancake mix excluded but I will give them a try. Well, all except the product called BluCetin, a “Natural Hangover Protection”. Honestly if I’m having a drink the limit is generally 2 and if I’m being totally honest I hardly ever make it to that number. I’m kind of a one drink girl.
Anyway, I will give the probiotic a try (can’t hurt can it?) and why not throw some extra green tea in my next smoothie? The Shapeology however I am a little afraid of. I’ve never taken any sort of fat burner supplement, mostly because I’m afraid of what’s in them and how my body will react to them. I’ve read the label a couple of times on this one and it seems like it’s mostly caffeine from several kinds of teas and some other roots I’m not too familiar with. I think my game plan for this is to try it for one day just to see what it’s like. I realize I won’t really get the desired weight loss effects from only one or two days of use, but for me this one is just for the experience not the results. I’ll be sure to check back in and let you know what I thought of the products and give recommendations (or stay away warnings).
