So after three months of 6am workouts doing Body Revolution I decided to reward myself by taking a kayaking tour in Rockport, MA! Kayaking has been on my list of things to do for a while now and finishing Body Revolution gave me the strength, endurance and confidence to actually do it. Just a few brief instructions from my guide Greg and some reassuring words from the other tour members (who were experienced kayakers) and I was off! The tour was 2 hours with lots of amazing sea views, three light houses, several islands and even a little sneaky cut through (that nearly resulted in me tipping over….scary but fun!). Plus from the harbor you get a good view of all the multimillion dollar houses…a girl can dream. All in all it was a fantastic way to spend my Saturday afternoon. Great workout, really works the arms, chest, back and even legs. I will definitely be going out on the water again soon!
And the reward for my reward….lobsta! Wouldn’t be a visit to Rockport without hitting up Roy Moore Lobster Co.! Fresh caught, boiled and served cracked with butter (don’t worry I went VERY easy on the butter). YUM!
